The “landscape” photographs of Bernard C. Meyers cannot be properly described by the conventional limitations of landscape. While many images are rooted in tradition these are abstruse contemplative studies in light, color and abstraction. In the same manner that Shinrin-Yoku links the Japanese to the forest his goal is to reach a deeper connection with spirit and place.
